HDD

Conventional hard disk drives (HDD) are designed to work for a specific period of time, whereas NVR/DVR hard disk drives are designed to work 24 hours a day, every day of the week. Hence the importance of choosing a specialized CCTV hard drive.

SSD

SSDs are the ultimate solution for specific on-board models due to their purely electronic components. Their high data transfer speeds, compared to HDDs, make them the ideal storage system for PCs. They are available as internal models with an M.2 connector, as well as external, portable models with fingerprint encryption for complete security of the stored data.

MicroSD

MicroSD cards are specific to surveillance cameras that contain a slot for microSD cards. In this segment you can also find models that can support up to 3,000 read/write cycles for local storage and continuous and/or event recording at a very competitive price.

USB Flash Drives

Finally, USB sticks or Pen Drives serve as a back-up for small and occasional storage and can reach transfer speeds of up to 600 Mb/s via the 3.0 standard.
