The SF-MC1GE-SC-3KM is a Gigabit Ethernet media converter designed to reliably and easily interconnect copper and fiber-optic networks. It features a 1 port with RJ45 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-negotiation and a 1 single-mode fiber port with an SC connector, enabling transparent conversion between Ethernet and fiber. It operates at 1 Gbps in full-duplex mode and supports a fiber transmission distance of up to 3 km, using a wavelength of 1310/1550 nm, making it ideal for medium-range network links.
The device uses Store & Forward mode, providing stable transmission and latency of less than 150 μs. It supports external power via an AC adapter or a DC input 5V, and features a compact, rugged design for easy integration into communication cabinets. Its wide operating range of −30 °C to 75 °C and its CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications make it a reliable solution for fiber links in enterprise networks, CCTV, campus networks, and telecommunications.
