An access controller is a professional element for the protection of perimeters and gates. They are located in safe and hidden places, allowing the connection of the readers, which are placed in the visible place of the installation and identify the user who wants to access, as well as the connection to the electronic locks, which will be activated if the user is allowed access.
This controller supports readers based on the Wiegand protocol, which allows the connection through direct wiring of each reader to the controller. It has 1 reader to perform entry and exit at each door and supports biometric readers, which are connected through RS485 and allow connection through BUS (cascading). By supporting RS485, it also supports OSDP on the same connector, the latter being customizable in the configuration and allowing up to 2 readers by this method.
This model has 1 relay output, being configurable as dry contact (without voltage).
By using an access controller, it is possible to ensure certain functions, such as opening all doors when a fire signal is received or triggering an alarm when a forced door is detected. Thanks to its inputs and outputs, it is possible to manage these functions in a simpler way.
Advanced configurable functions: anti-pass-back technology (does not allow a person to pass through if he/she is already inside).
The CrossChex Standard software is used to configure users, schedules and access groups, as well as special functions, relay opening times or reader reading times.
