Z787 is a dual-channel intrinsic safety interface module designed to limit the energy transferred from the safe area (sensing loop) to devices located in potentially explosive areas (Zones 0, 1 or 2). Its purpose is to prevent sparks or overheating that could cause a fire, ensuring the integrity of the Hochiki ESP system in critical environments.

This component is critical for compliance with the RIPCI in areas at risk of explosive atmospheres (ATEX), serving as the safety interface between the safe area and the classified area.
