The SF-POEXT5GE1GE-1BT-OUT is an outdoor Gigabit PoE extender designed to extend Ethernet and PoE networks in installations where high speed and long-distance power delivery are required. It features 4 Gigabit PoE ports ((10/100/1000 Mbps), of which ports 1 through 3 provide up to 30 W, while port 4 supports high-power PoE up to 60 W under the IEEE 802.3bt, standard, as well as a Gigabit LAN uplink port for connection to the main network. It is fully compatible with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt, standards, allowing it to power IP cameras, access points, or high-power wireless radios.
The device allows PoE and data transmission to be extended up to 130 meters per hop, with the ability to daisy-chain up to 4 devices, facilitating long-range outdoor deployments. It offers a bandwidth of 10 Gbps, a forwarding rate of 7,4 Mpps, and a MAC table of 8K addresses, ensuring low latency and stable performance. It is powered directly via PoE (up to 60 W), features an automatic PoE watchdog, and includes 6 kV surge protection and 8 kV ESD protection. Its compact and rugged design, combined with an operating temperature range of −30 °C to 60 °C, makes it an ideal solution for video surveillance, wireless links, and PoE networks in outdoor environments.
