Hikvision DS‑3WF1000‑EI‑2N is an outdoor wireless bridge in the Hikvision networking series designed to establish point-to-point (PtP) or point-to-multipoint (PtMP) links in applications where physical cable is not practical or possible. It operates in the 2.4 GHz band with IEEE 802.11b/g/n, standard offering wireless speeds up to 300 Mbps and allowing to cover distances up to ≈ 1 km line-of-sight, making it suitable for transmitting data or video outdoors between buildings, open areas or physically separated network segments.
Each kit unit incorporates a 2×2 integrated 7 dBi MIMO antenna, designed to improve connection stability and range, along with two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports for local network connection or end devices. The equipment has IP55, protection, which makes it suitable for outdoor environments with moderate exposure to dust and water, and withstands a wide range of operating temperatures.
The DS-3WF1000-EI-2N is powered by 12–24 VDC passive PoE, with low power consumption, and offers software features such as web-based management, signal strength indicators and wireless security options such as WPA2-PSK. It can be easily configured for two-point or multipoint wireless links and is a practical solution for extending networks without physical cabling.
