A stand-alone access control device consists of a combination of a controller and a reader in a single unit: is able to identify users, decide whether or not they have permission to access the installation and operate the electronic lock through its relay.
This equipment allows identification through cards or key fobs with MF technology of 13.56 MHz, NFC, Bluetooth, QR code reading, as well as biometrics with facial recognition. In addition, it has temporary QR codes to provide limited access from its SmartPlus mobile application.
Its exterior grade IP65 allows it to be installed outdoors.
From the Akuvox Cloud, the configuration of users, schedules and access groups, as well as special functions, opening times of the relays or reading time of the readers is performed.
